Job summary

Neogen Corporation seeks a Machine Operator I to support manufacturing operations in a clean, safety‑driven environment. You will operate automated equipment, inspect parts, and maintain documentation to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role starts on 1st shift for training (6am–4:30pm) for 3 months, then moves to 2nd shift (6pm–4:30am). Onsite work with opportunities for growth and skill development within the food safety and animal health products division.

Qualifications

• High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum tenure of 1 year in the Machine Operator I position before promotion to the next level.
• Physical demands include repetitive tasks and handling up to 120 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Uses automated equipment to manufacture, assemble, or move parts/kits/products.
• Inspects parts/kits/products to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains equipment and facilities; participates in troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Performs tasks according to SMP/SOP and adheres to ISO, GMP, GDP guidelines.
• Supports lean processes and 5S in the work area.
