Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in York, SC, is seeking a 3rd shift Operator to operate assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting. Shift is Sunday-Thursday 11 pm-7 am, with every other Friday 11 pm-5 am, at $19.00 per hour.

You will inspect parts, read blueprints, and ensure quality while maintaining 5S standards and accurate documentation. Ideal candidates have basic manufacturing experience, ability to read blueprints and manuals, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment and applicable hand tools.
• Complete first piece inspection as needed.
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints where applicable.
• Use basic measuring instruments.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area).
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
