Job summary

Pecan Bayou Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an LVN/RN Charge Nurse for night shifts in Brownwood, TX. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and support daily living activities under supervision of RNs and physicians.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN or RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification required and maintained

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other staff to update care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies and regulations.
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure resident safety.
