Job summary

Reagan Hospital District is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a full-time graveyard shift in Big Lake, TX. The LVN will assist in patient care, assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation under supervision, and perform medications as directed.

Qualifications include Texas LVN licensure with BCLS, strong communication, and at least 1 year of LVN experience preferred. Indoor setting with ability to lift 50 pounds. Benefits include health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas with BCLS certification.
• One year of Licensed Vocational Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Indoor work environment; must be able to lift/push 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation.
• Perform medication administration under supervision.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with hospital policy.
• Participate in health education for patients and families.
