Job summary
Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit long-term care setting. This full-time night shift position offers 12-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus.
Under supervision of a registered nurse and care team, you'll administer medications, assess resident status, document care, and contribute to individualized care plans. We offer generous benefits and opportunities for ongoing CEU and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Current unencumbered LPN license and Continuing Education requirements as specified by the department.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
- Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
- Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
