Good Samaritan Pipestone, a longstanding nonprofit provider of senior care, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift in Pipestone, MN. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license. North Dakota IV therapy requirements may apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Maintains competency in nursing practices and follows care plans.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes; administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, and health care team.
