Community West Rehabilitation Hospital in Brownsburg, IN, operated with Lifepoint Health, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts. The role features a 36-hour week (12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM).

You will deliver direct patient care within the nursing process, under RN supervision, contributing to high-quality rehabilitation care. Ideal candidates hold Indiana LPN licensure, BSN/ADN or Diploma, CPR/BCLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN/ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse in Indiana.
• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medications and correct administration based on patient age/condition.
• Assists with assessment and reassessment under RN supervision and updates care plans.
• Performs timely and accurate QA assessments.
• Carries out the care plan and evaluates its effectiveness daily.
• Interacts professionally with patient/family to include them in the care plan.
• Educates patients and families on pain management.
