Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Holstein, IA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts. You will provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting under supervision, administer medications, and contribute to care plans.

Must have an LPN license with state board, preferred associate degree, and active CEU compliance. Includes competitive benefits and opportunities within a non-profit organization.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
Attended a pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision.
Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and follow care plans.
Document resident interactions and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support resident needs.

Education
