Job summary

Hickory Ridge of Temperance is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PT/FT night shift to provide skilled nursing and short‑term rehabilitation care to our residents.

The role requires current LPN licensure in Michigan and CPR certification, with 1–3 years in long‑term care preferred. Night shift differential of $2/hour applies, and we offer competitive pay and benefits through Ciena Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Michigan.
• CPR certification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for guests.
• Supervise CNAs/STNAs and other team members who care for guests.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes; promptly implement new orders.
• Contribute to the guest’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.
