Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a six-week assignment in Florence, Alabama. The position is onsite with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a minimum guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The LPN will deliver nursing care under RN direction, participate in assessments and care planning, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff. Compliance with state nursing practice acts and HIPAA is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Reads, writes, speaks English to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Collects and documents data for RN review.
• Observes patient conditions and reports changes.
• Contributes to care planning and interventions.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Supervises unlicensed staff and coordinates with other departments.
• Ensures confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.
