Ascension Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for Observation Telemetry night shifts. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor patient wellbeing, and administer medications with a focus on safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include conducting essential lab tests, delivering therapeutic services, and guiding patients and families through treatment plans to achieve confident recovery and self-care.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Education may be substituted with licensure or experience as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive patient assessments to monitor wellbeing and outcomes.
• Safely administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform vital laboratory tests and therapeutic services integral to diagnostics.
