Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care settings. Under supervision, you will assess residents, administer medications, and contribute to care planning while maintaining essential documentation and confidentiality.

The role requires an LPN license (state or multi-state), potential IV therapy training as applicable in ND, and ongoing CEU/compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If IV therapy/management is required in North Dakota, completion of an approved IV therapy program is needed.
• Must have supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or 400 hours of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families and care team to ensure quality care.
