Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a night shift at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

You will join a multidisciplinary medical team to assess patients, administer medications, and respond to urgent health needs in a correctional setting. New grads are encouraged to apply and will receive training in correctional healthcare, with competitive pay and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Actively state-certified as an LPN/LVN
• Possess an active CPR certification
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and collecting health histories
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient status
• Providing wound care and administering medications
• Entering data into electronic health records
• Providing emergency first aid and discharge planning

Education
