VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring a Night Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Oakland County Jail in Pontiac, MI. The LPN will deliver care within the scope of the state act, monitor patients, administer medications, and support treatment plans for offenders.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of employment.
• Possesses an active CPR certification.
• Remains knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing practice.
• Satisfactory completion of initial and annual competencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within LPN scope as directed.
• Monitor patients and report changes to medical staff.
• Administer medications to offenders.
• Document actions in MAR and medical records.
• Support development and implementation of teaching plans.
