Job summary

Park Place of Elmhurst, part of the Providence Life Services family, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift. You will provide direct nursing care per physician orders, maintain accurate records, administer medications, and educate residents and families on care plans.

Requirements include an Illinois LPN license and at least 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience. Shift operations require lifting, screenings, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Illinois.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical and Surgical experience.
• Long-term care experience is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprinting, and background/reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident and nursing care per physician orders and standards.
• Maintain accurate nursing observations and care records.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Educate residents and families on disease processes and management.
• Monitor supplies and review Shift nursing reports; communicate goals of care.
