Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a 10-week onsite contract in Franklin, NH. You'll work 12-hour shifts (12 hours/day, 3 days/week) with a minimum guaranteed 36 hours per week, handling direct patient care and collaborative care planning under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include medication administration, accurate documentation, and coordination with unlicensed staff. Compliance, safety, and patient-family education are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety.
• Provide verification of TB test as required by state law.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collects, reports and documents data.
• Observes conditions and reports changes to RN.
• Contributes to care planning and evaluates interventions.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders.
• Documents accurately and thoroughly; communicates with RN/physician.
• Supervises unlicensed staff and coordinates with other departments.
• Involved in discharge planning and patient/family education.
