Job summary
Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking a locum pharmacist for a full-time night shift assignment at Bakersfield, CA. This auto-offer opportunity requires recent Epic experience. Schedule is 40 hours per week with every other weekend and on-call coverage.
Compensation is up to $96/hour. A PharmD and inpatient hospital pharmacy experience are preferred. Candidates will verify and dispense orders, monitor therapies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care under a night
Qualifications
- Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months required.
- Inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- PharmD degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense medication orders
- Monitor medication therapies for safety and effectiveness
- Provide clinical pharmacy support and drug information
- Identify and resolve medication-related issues
- Participate in medication management and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize patient care
