Job summary

Swift Transportation is hiring CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal role based in the Hutchins/Lancaster, TX area. This home-daily, night-shift position covers a ~250-mile radius, with a mostly drop-and-hook operation and regular weekend work on Tue–Sat.

Expect around 1,000 miles per week and earnings aligned to CPM and per-load pay. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, a minimum of 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, no trainees, no teams or owner-operators, and living within 30 miles of

• Willing to work Tuesday through Saturday
• Available for night-shift operations

Responsibilities

• Haul intermodal containers on chassis with drop-and-hook
• Operate within a ~250-mile service area
• Mostly drop-and-hook freight with some live loads/unloads
• Return home daily as part of a local intermodal operation
