Dura-Line in Clinton, TN is hiring a Line Operator to operate an extrusion line, ensuring products meet quality standards and tolerances. This role involves adjusting equipment, documenting parameters, and coordinating with peers to maintain safety and efficiency on rotating night shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, basic math/measurement skills, and the ability to read work instructions. Benefits are offered with comprehensive coverage.

Formación

• High School diploma preferred.
• Basic math/measurement and reading comprehension skills.
• At least 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• Ability to follow work instructions and use basic math.
• Material handling and forklift experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform checks of equipment, materials, and product; monitor extruders.
• Adjust the extruder, die, water, and vacuum to maintain product quality.
• Ensure the pipe print line is applied according to the Quality Manual.
• Ensure product dimensions, tolerances, and appearance meet quality standards and inform the Supervisor or Lead of any changes.
• Perform SDR and size changes, setup, and changeover activities.
• Document product dimensions accurately.
• Correct output, quality, speed, and tooling changes as needed.
• Coordinate changes with other extrusion line operators.
• Report unsafe or broken equipment.
• Participate in training, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
