Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a Lead EVS Associate for Einstein Main on the night shift. You will coordinate Environmental Services staff, ensuring cleanliness and safety and compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations. The role supports hospital operations and patient safety.

Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma and 6 months to 1 year of healthcare housekeeping experience. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in healthcare housekeeping preferred.
• Familiarity with EPA/OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in assigned areas by following departmental policies and procedures.
• Properly dispose of biohazards and environmental contaminants according to EPA and OSHA codes and regulations.
• Keep biohazardous food and loading areas free of debris and hazards.
• Maintain equipment, clean carts, floor machines, and supply closets to uphold a professional hospital appearance.
• Adhere to PPE requirements for protection against exposure to biofluids, chemicals, and hazardous substances.
• Follow hand hygiene and departmental safety policies.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as requested by supervisor.
• Respond to pages or calls promptly and perform other duties as assigned.
