Job summary

Pine Island Independent School District No. 255 is seeking a Night Lead Custodian for the 2:30pm - 11pm shift, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends for special events.

The role leads the night custodial team, inspects facilities, and coordinates with the Buildings & Grounds Director to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient learning environment district-wide. Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing routine maintenance, snow removal, and training new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead a night custodial team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift custodial team.
• Train new night custodians.
• Operate custodial equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Snow removal and salting during night shift.
• Ensure safety and observe OSHA regulations.
• Order supplies and manage logistical tasks.
• Provide timely, customer-focused support to staff and visitors.
