Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit on the full-time night shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) with every third weekend and rotating holidays. The staff nurse provides direct patient care, documents clinical progress, and ensures newborn assessment and care per Delaware regulations.

Minimum qualifications include ASN (BSN preferred), active Delaware RN license, 1–2 years in L&D, and BLS/NRP.

Qualifications

• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Active RN License in Delaware
• 1–2 years in Labor & Delivery
• BLS and NRP required

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards and documents patient care.
• Performs comprehensive neonatal assessments and monitors glucose, thermoregulation, and respiratory status.
• Plans and delivers care for neonates with complications and documents outcomes.
• Provides parent education and discharge instructions; collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
