Job summary

Saint Alphonsus in Nampa, Idaho seeks a full-time Labor & Delivery RN for the Birkeland Maternity Center. The role involves night shifts (7pm-7am or 7am-7pm as needed) with rotating schedules and a strong emphasis on team-based OB care.

Responsibilities include delivering labor and postpartum care, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with the Boise/Nampa maternity units as required. Idaho RN license required; Oregon licensure process within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RN license Idaho required before hire date.
• Multistate license acceptable if residency established in Idaho within 60 days.
• Licensure or application in Oregon required within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/BLS-HCP, ACLS and NRP certification required or obtained within six months.
• PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor, delivery and postpartum nursing care.
• Collaborate with obstetrics team to meet patient needs.
• Monitor mother and baby and respond to emergencies.
• Educate families and ensure evidence-based care protocols.
