Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests (including phlebotomy, occult and gastric blood tests, urine pH and volume).
• Process samples (accessioning, receiving, aliquoting, labeling) and review laboratory actions.
• Operate and maintain automated pre-analytic instrumentation as needed.
• Record and report results accurately with correct patient data entry and requisition validation.
• Maintain supplies and clean, organized workspace; manage hand-offs across shifts.
• Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives and process improvements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and staff.
