Job summary

Labcorp in Greenville, NC seeks a Specimen Processor I to join our clinical testing team. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00pm–12:30am with rotating weekends; role involves preparing specimens, routing to staging, labeling, packing and shipping, and data entry.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work well in a team, with solid attention to detail

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
