You will deliver patient care under nursing leadership, utilizing evidence-based practice and comprehensive care plans for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications include CT RN licensure, BLS, and a commitment to continuous learning. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high reliability within a busy, teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse utilizes evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, and policies and procedures of the hospital. This position develops a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced population of patients, which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.
