Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Labor and Delivery nurse for a 13-week assignment with extension potential in Pella, Iowa. The role runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule, at a pay rate of $62–$67 per hour.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care across age groups. The assignment includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ongoing patient assessments, and responsibility for supervising support staff while

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the health care team using evidence-based practice.
• Provide safe and optimal patient outcomes through nursing judgment.
• Direct the work of support staff in the provision of care.
• Perform general nursing duties with minimal supervision.
• Care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Maintain current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.
