Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN - L&D for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role covers labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care, with 12-hour night shifts and patient assignment managed by charge nurses.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery, RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and pass a skills exam with at least 90%. EPIC charting experience preferred; weekends/holidays rotate; no artificial nails; driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery.
• RN license required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Driver's license required.
• No artificial nails policy.
• Must pass orientation skills exam with a minimum score of 90%.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, magnesium, insulin and antihypertensives.
• Charge nurses assign patient loads on each shift.
• OB tech will assist with patient care on each shift.
• Weekend and holiday shifts rotate.
• RNs may float to other departments as needed.
