Job summary

Clark Electric in the Tampa Bay area seeks a dependable Night Shift Journeyman Electrician to perform commercial, industrial, and facility electrical work during scheduled overnight projects.

The role features a four-day, 40-hour night schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM with potential overtime and varied assignments. The ideal candidate can lead apprentices, troubleshoot complex systems, and communicate clearly with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Journeyman electrician certification or license where required by jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Complete electrical work in occupied facilities during scheduled shutdowns or after hours.
• Install and repair conduit, wiring, panels, disconnects, lighting, controls, transformers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot circuits, equipment, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Read drawings, specifications, and panel schedules; perform voltage checks and diagnostics.
• Coordinate shutdowns and energization with customers and management; lead apprentices when assigned.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and document work completed, materials used, and hours.
