Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program; Florida RN license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Preferred Mental Health Nursing experience with adults and adolescents.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments and monitoring of Adults/Adolescents; enters orders into EMR.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Evaluates nursing needs; develops and maintains Treatment Plan.
• Guides Behavioral Health Technicians in nursing care and coordinates staff assignments.
• Acts as unit Charge Nurse and participates in PI and quality initiatives.
