Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time night shift. The role runs 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM with 8 nights on and 6 off per 2-week period, onsite only.

Responsibilities include managing ADMs, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and regular medication inventory audits. Compensation ranges from $20.26 to $26.34 per hour, dependent on experience, with a structured career ladder and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• PHATP certification from State Board of Pharmacy. Must obtain Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT) within 18 months of obtaining provisional certification or per DORA expiration.

Responsibilities

• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medication is safely available.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging while maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired or near-expired items, ensuring prompt removal and replacement.
