Job summary

Holland Sharpe is seeking a seasoned Thermoplastics Press Setup Technician to own the press setup process on third shift, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, in Murfreesboro, TN. You will manage 12–24 presses, perform tool/die/mold changeovers, read blueprints, and troubleshoot to keep lines humming.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in plastic injection molding, experience with hydraulic/electric/magnetic clamp systems, and a track record of reliable setups and quick troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in plastic injection molding or plastics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient mold and tooling changeovers on injection molding machines.
• Set up presses to produce quality parts and validate start-up.
• Monitor machines across the floor, diagnosing issues to maintain steady output.
• Clean dies post-run to ensure quality and readiness for the next shift.
