Job summary

Twin City Fan is seeking an Industrial Painter for the night shift. Entry level pay starts at $19.00/hr with shift differential. No extensive experience required; up to 2 years accepted.

You will paint metal and other surfaces using spray equipment, prepare surfaces, mix paints, and coordinate touch-ups while maintaining safety and accurate documentation. Expect a fast-paced, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use hand tools safely.
• May be required to operate forklift, overhead crane and pallet jack depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Applies solvent and water-based paints to metal and surfaces using spray equipment.
• Prepares walls and surfaces for painting.
• Cover fixtures and fill cracks/holes before painting.
• Mixes paints and matches colors.
• May perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects.
• Completes documentation and maintains workspace.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety policies.
