Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform equipment assembly and operations support on production lines, following preventive maintenance program requirements and providing product and process support. You will troubleshoot production line issues and respond to equipment demands to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar.
  • Strong PLC and Electrical Controls experience.
  • Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures of production machines.
  • Independently determine and develop approach to machinery repair and troubleshooting.
  • Full knowledge of motion controls, industrial controls, electrical and pneumatic operations to resolve complex machine issues on the production line.
  • Lead collaborative efforts in major repairs.
  • Perform PM work (preventive maintenance) as scheduled.
  • Conduct moderately complex troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Conduct activities, tasks, and documentation per quality system requirements.
  • Assist in reviewing and executing maintenance procedures through the change control process.
  • Communicate with and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.
