Job summary

Sheridan Brimfield, a CJK Group company, is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our night shift in Ohio. You’ll keep production lines running across catalogs, commercial print, and educational materials while gaining paid training, cross-training, and clear advancement opportunities.

You’ll diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues, read drawings, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years maintaining and installing industrial equipment (electrical and mechanical).
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Self-starter, collaborative, and able to work 12-hour night shifts with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Read drawings and ladder logic to isolate faults on production equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with a full range of tools and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production to prioritize work orders and support changeovers.
• Document maintenance activities and recommend reliability improvements.
