Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification in clinical specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and teach diverse patients and families.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources.
• Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote improvements.
• Support patient satisfaction and staff morale and nursing practice.
• Adapt care to the patient population and obtain permissions and communicate clearly.
• Perform other related duties as required.
