Job summary

Community Trust Bank seeks a diligent cleaner to perform nightly cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas. Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, sanitizing, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies in line with procedures.

Candidate should have up to six months of cleaning experience, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. OSHA safety practices and company policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read, write, add, subtract, and follow simple written or oral instructions.
• Up to six months of cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning solvents and solutions.
• Ability to operate a vacuum cleaner and perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning duties each night including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing coffee pots and pans.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, wipes walls, partitions, trash removal, replaces liners, replenishes supplies.
• Cleans and polishes kitchen items, appliances, sinks, and bright work; takes out trash and restocks supplies.
• Dusts and cleans offices, desks, filing cabinets, equipment, blinds, windows, and doors.
• Adheres to OSHA safety practices and company policies.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and helps reduce consumption.
• Ensures all actions comply with government regulations and organizational policies.
