Job summary

The Seaport Hotel is seeking a skilled Overnight Engineering Mechanic to support our Engineering team in ensuring guest comfort, safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks, fire/life safety monitoring, and routine maintenance across guest rooms and public areas.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, trade training preferred, EPA refrigerant certification, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures.
Monitor fire alarm and life safety systems; respond to emergencies and maintain readiness.
Maintain, clean, and secure all tools and equipment; ensure proper condition.
Respond promptly to emergencies to protect guests, associates, and property and report incidents to Engineering Management.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety, emergency, and hotel policies.
Read, record, and interpret data from gauges and meters; maintain accurate daily logs.
Provide training and support to engineering colleagues and coordinate with operations teams.
