XPO Logistics, Inc. Newark, NJ is seeking a Dockworker (Hostler) for night shift on a part-time basis to move trailers, operate forklift and pallet jack, and help load freight.

Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, basic math ability, and be available for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. The role includes health, life and disability insurance, PTO, 9 holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and an employee stock purchase plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform basic math with/without calculator.
• Able to pass company pre-hire physical test.
• Availability for days/evenings/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around the property.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift as required.
• Load freight at least 1 day per week.
• Operate hostler in all weather; stand/walk extended periods.
• Safely move equipment and connect/disconnect dolly.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
