The position resides in a 162-bed hospital within the Denver Metro area. The role emphasizes collaboration with consultants, leadership in patient care, and dedication to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Internal or Family Medicine.
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused care.
• Active Colorado medical license or eligibility.
• Current DEA licensure.
• Ability to collaborate with consultants and support staff.
• Provide admission services for the Emergency Department and transfer patients.
• Respond promptly to hospital staff communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide admission services for the Emergency Department, incoming transfers, and admissions.
• Deliver consultative and co-management services for subspecialties as privileges allow.
• Accept transfers of care from other service lines when appropriate.
• Respond to communications from hospital staff in a timely manner.
