Job summary

Roper Hospital - Downtown Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking a Linen Transporter to maintain stocked linen carts, deliver clean linen to hospital departments, and pick up all soiled carts on the night shift. The job requires the ability to pull and push heavy loads and to count and record inventory.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, pushing/pulling heavy carts, and counting inventory with accuracy. You must work flexible nights, weekends and holidays, be able to clock in on time, follow

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build clean, neat, organized carts to standard par level.
• Deliver clean linen to hospital departments.
• Pickup soiled carts from floors.
• Take and fulfill orders from hospital staff.
• Clean linen room as necessary; sweep and mop.
• Open new linen for processing and align carts as needed.
• Duties may include additional requirements.
