Qualifications

• 1 Year of full-time experience in an accredited histopathology laboratory.
• Experience in fixation, microtomy, processing, embedding, and staining.
• Graduation from a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program can substitute experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tissue slides for examination by Pathologist.
• Perform routine and special staining of tissue slides.
• Maintain daily temperature readings and task worksheets.
• Inventory of supplies and replenish stock.
