Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to contribute to a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers and teammates, ensuring displays are stock-ready and engaging, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You’ll rotate and merchandise products, assist customers with product knowledge, and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently. This role supports multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
