Job summary

The Winn-Dixie Company in Florida is seeking a capable associate to assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, replenish products overnight, and promote consistent, compliant store operations. You will help maintain shelf availability, freshness, inventory, and pricing, while delivering friendly service and building customer loyalty.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Creates an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued, supports planed merchandising, and ensures product availability and pricing accuracy.
Promotes teamwork and communicates information at department level to maintain compliance.
Monitors inventory and product quality, reports discrepancies, and ensures proper temperature and food safety logs.
Ensures adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements (USDA, COOL, DOA) and handles recalls promptly.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
