Novolex is seeking a grinder room operator for night shifts in Conyers, GA. You will operate grinders, forklifts, and related equipment, ensuring quality by preventing contamination and keeping accurate shift records.

The role requires forklift certification and prior lift truck experience, with focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year in production, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Mechanical knowledge of industrial systems.
• Successful completion of forklift certification program.
• Minimum 2 years lift truck/clamp truck experience in logistics.
• Strong problem solving and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinders to remove flashing and inspect wheel condition.
• Identify material grades and prevent regrind contamination.
• Load/unload materials using forklift and barcode scanners.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork accounting for time and quantities.
• Perform routine grinder maintenance and ensure safety guidelines.
