Job summary

Meyer Tool in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Grinding Operator for the night shift. You will run grinding and milling operations, load/unload parts, inspect parts daily, and maintain equipment and logs. A 10% shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate once night shift begins.

Responsibilities include setting up jobs, tracking materials, ensuring parts meet specs, and adhering to AS9100 quality standards. ITAR US Person status and high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a high ability in machining processes.
• Proficient reading of simple part drawings.
• Ability to read micrometers and calipers accurately.
• Experience with conventional machining preferred ( grinding, milling, drilling, turning ).

Responsibilities

• Set up and switch jobs as required.
• Perform tasks efficiently within standard time.
• Maintain materials and housekeeping in work area.
• Conduct minor maintenance on machines and inspect parts for conformance.
• Operate grinders, micrometers, gauges and related tools.
