Job summary

TICO is seeking a Fuel Technician to deliver and dispense fuel, oils, and fluids to its fleet and partner-owned equipment. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and strong customer service during nightly operations at multiple port terminals.

The technician will learn tanker operations, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain equipment. This is a night shift position (9:00 pm–5:00 am) requiring physical stamina and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Reliable, safe team member with good attendance.
• Night shift hours from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Deliver petroleum products to customers at port terminals nightly.
• Maintain professional, safe, and customer service-oriented approach.
• Develop understanding of tanker trucks and pumping equipment.
• Accurate accounting & reporting of delivered fuel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report deficiencies.
• Respond to fuel spills per company guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and work areas; keep clean and organized.
• Cross-train within different fuel dept. tasks; perform other duties as needed.
• May work individually or as part of a team.
