Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Fryer Operator for our production team. You will operate and adjust fryer equipment, perform routine maintenance, and monitor production quality on a night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

You will collaborate with teammates to meet safety, quality, and production standards while maintaining cleanliness and following food safety protocols. Experience with data entry and basic mechanical tasks is a plus, and occasional lifting up to 70 lbs

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to work in warm to hot environments.
• Experience operating production and data entry equipment.
• Basic mechanical tasks and use of tools (Allen wrenches, screwdrivers).
• Knowledge of safe operating practices, including lock-out/tag-out programs.
• Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate effectively and work with others.
• Must lift up to 70 lbs and work around hot equipment.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust Fryer equipment to meet production goals.
• Perform maintenance and basic repairs on machinery.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance to keep things running smoothly.
• Ensure high-quality products by inspecting equipment and monitoring production.
• Collaborate with your team to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety and food safety protocols.
• Handle data entry functions and communicate updates to the team.
