Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations, including forklift operation, picking, packing, and loading/unloading trucks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse work environment.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle related paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
