Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is hiring for a Lift Truck Operator on a 12-hour night shift in Candler, NC. The role focuses on warehousing and shipping of bottles and preforms, with a shift premium for night hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance.
• Able to follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment and perform duties related to warehousing and shipping of production items including preforms and bottles.
• Supply pallets, frames, and tier sheets to palletizers; reload strap and wrap as needed.
• Notify maintenance for equipment malfunctions and provide information to assist repairs.
• Store bottles and preforms in the correct locations; ensure correct labeling and packaging according to SQMS standards.
• Load and unload shipments; communicate with customers about loads when dispatcher unavailable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and inspect forklift equipment per guidelines.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in product safety and regulatory compliance.
